About Me
I am a Menopause Specialist who works in a non-clinical capacity.
My work is deeply personal. I experienced some of the most challenging aspects of perimenopause and menopause myself, and found that support from both male and female clinicians was limited and often dismissive. My experience led me to pursue formal clinical training—not just to help myself, but to ensure others would never have to face this stage of life unsupported or uninformed.
Today, I use this expertise to educate all ages and genders on the most up-to-date medical and pharmaceutical knowledge surrounding:
-
HRT/MHT
-
How peri/menopause affects the brain
-
Changes to the genitourinary system
-
Testosterone use in women
-
And much more
Whether you need a clear, accessible introduction or a detailed, in-depth understanding, I tailor my approach to meet your needs.
My Approach
My goal is to empower people with knowledge, clarity, and confidence. I explain:
-
Why perimenopause happens
-
What menopause actually is
-
The health implications of being post-menopausal
-
How HRT/MHT works, including benefits, risks, and formulation options
When women receive accurate, evidence-based information, they can make informed choices about their health. And because menopause affects everyone—directly or indirectly—all genders and age groups benefit from understanding it.
Perimenopause can begin as early as 35, and surgical menopause can occur at any age, so it is far from an “older woman’s issue.”
1:1 Support
I provide personalised support for women before, during, and after perimenopause, helping them navigate:
-
Physical and psychological symptoms—and the hormonal reasons behind them
-
Whether their symptoms could indicate perimenopause
-
How hormones, exercise, and nutrition can help
-
How to track patterns and changes
-
What to do when a doctor is reluctant to prescribe HRT/MHT
-
How to use HRT/MHT correctly for maximum benefit
-
Ongoing check-ins, monitoring, and guidance
-
A reliable point of contact for questions, reassurance, and personalised advice
Corporate & Organisational Support
Alongside individual support, I develop and deliver bespoke menopause training and educational content for businesses.
This service is available on request and fully customised to your organisation’s needs.

Testimonials
"Vanessa is driven by a desire to prevent other women experiencing what she went through by proving them with the knowledge to take ownership of their own journey through the menopause. For me, she debunked several myths and misinformed views so I was able to lead the conversation with my GP"

Vanessa has been been instrumental in opening my eyes to the unnecessary suffering caused by menopause. So much about menopause is not understood, not talked about, and filled with misinformation. Ness does an incredible job cutting though all that mess and getting right right to the point of how best to support people going through this tumultuous and unexplained transition.
Worth every penny" -Divo
"Juggling work, family and menopausal symptoms is really hard. My brain fog and joint pains make every day difficult. Speaking to Vanessa and having that support available has allowed me to make decisions with my GP. She's given me the confidence to discuss the menopause with health professionals confidently" Lisa Richards
In the last 12 months Vanessa has been an amazing support to me, as I have endured the daily challenges of perimenopause.
Vanessa is not only an empathic listener, she has shared her in-depth knowledge of perimenopause and menopause to help me understand this point in my live more fully and provides fantastic advice.
It's also reassuring to know Vanessa is on hand should I have any questions about my HRT dosage or just lend a supportive ear.
I highly recommend Vanessa as a 1:1 support along with her training courses"

"I don't know how anyone manages this by themselves. Honestly I have no clue what I would have done without you!
